CLIENT PROJECT || Alexander McQueen

After doing some research, I found that Alexander McQueen did a whole collection featuring animal headdresses. I did some sketches from photographs of the pieces.

Successes

- Good drawings and very strong link to my idea. Has swayed me towards the function being a fashion piece.

- I feel very inspired after discovering this collection. The pieces are all so beautifully executed.

Could do better

- Perhaps should have gone one step further with my research and researched where McQueen's inspiration came from.

- Made me think about the purpose of my piece - when looking at my work with Levi he raised the point that I need a function for my headpiece. Like I say, I am now considering my headpiece purpose as a fashion one.

- I am concerned that my project is once again steering towards fashion too sharply and I must keep in mind that it should be a 3DD project.
