BREATHING UNDERWATER || Research

After being given this project title, I did some initial research. My first thought was of the fictional breathing apparatus used in the fourth Harry Potter book.

Successes

- Good idea to look into a film for inspiration as I am most likely going to make some kind of model/special effects piece for a film.

- Found some lovely images, but was also swayed towards doing something that wasn't just a piece of fictional apparatus or evolutionary human growth using FX makeup & prosthetics.

- Decided already that I want to make a model of an underwater creature.

Could do better

- I did not get much further today. I am a little stumped by this project. Initially I was really excited as I feel this is a really fun starting point to be given, but I am not having any wonderful ideas yet!
