CATALYSTS || Sketching loose ideas

Today I just drew whatever came into my head, keeping conscious of the Memphis style. I decided to use square paper this time as the perspective and scale were off in my house design drawing.

I drew a couple of multipurpose objects, which appear frequently in Memphis furniture collections. This one is the 'Chelf'. It features an armchair and shelving on one side, including a cupboard on the front. I didn't bother finishing this drawing as I didn't like the design very much, and it would be too complex to make.

I also drew a sofa. I like it, but there's nothing innovative about it. It does however replicate the Memphis style successfully.
